A review for July- Girls are Better!

When I was first started watching YouTube, most of my subscription were male.

But as time went on, I started to amass more and more female YouTubers and now I have female majority in my subscription.

Now why is that? Well, I suggest that Women is just better at doing YouTube in these three reasons.

Reason 1: Women are talkative.

I mean I know not all girl is ready to talk their every little details and most girls in YouTube are not the stereotypical gossip girl, but I’m talking about different side of talkative.

If you see most boy’s ‘vlog,’ you’ll see that there’s lot of special effects and flailing and just general nonsense.

However, most girl YouTubers are just sitting in a camera, talking and let the words fill the space of CONTENT. (Sorry, WOTO 2013)

This gives a clean taste to the sophisticated eye and eventually give better enjoyment as there’s no distraction to the content. If your content is disruptive, the audience will also be disruptive - Ready to move on somewhere else and not getting anything out of the experience.

So, by having the word speak its worth, you appreciate the sentiment of the viewer and feel attachment to the person, not the character.

Reason 2: Women are more confident.

Now, you might say ‘Does girl usually talk about how they’re not confident?’

Yes, but this goes back to the major distinction.

Boys will usually will go in by the way of the sketch and effects. It is more structured and more comedic.

But this implies that the boys are not good enough to talk about the subject directly, instead they need to mask their idea into more appealing arguments.

Girls, however, are more confident at speaking whatever thing that is on their mind and be ready to face the consequences.

They talk criticism heavily and try to hone their behavior more deftly than most of the boyd, who commit to blunt changes.
Reason 3: Honesty

Now, first two reason have opposing arguments. Many girls do sketches and give compelling effects and many boys can be sincere and soft.

But there’s something about honesty that I can’t quite blur the line between genders.

When girls put up their videos, there’s essence of sincerity in the videos, like they really believe in this and they’re passionate about it even if they’re cynical and sarcastic.

When boys put up their videos, you feel there’s a cover to the true intention, that they’re not ready to reveal what you feel about and even if they’re sincere, most don’t feel sincere.

I suggest there’s a biological explanation for this. The Men in this society fight for the girl and the Women chooses the boy.

Boys as they’re in testament to the Girls have to present themselves to the society. They need to put on a facade that would entice the girls into picking you as their mate.

Girls, however, needs to be honest in their selection because if you pick the wrong mate, you’ll be stuck with a unwanted baby for nine months or even more considering marriage and other circumstances.

So, therefore Girls are more honest and are hurt more by the criticism because what they put out is more true to themselves then what boys put out.

Boys can shrug off the criticism because they have a defensive armor of mediated persona.

Overall, since YouTube is more about expressing yourself (I’ll get into that tomorrow) Girls, who express themselves more can be more expressive in their videos than Boys.

So, this is why Girls are better than Boys on YouTube. Least in my opinion.
