John is sparing! This is the first book reading exemption! Of course, this was seen as book reading exemption, but Nerdfighter would see this as a new exemption. I do think Paper Towns has weird connection with An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, because it's about thinking about a person in multitude and it has eerily similar vibe to fame. Like many of April's monologue, Margo could relate. Man, in the Green Literary Universe, Margo would have been fascinated by Carl. Quentin... no.
