So, here is the first chapter of Paper Towns. It's actually quite different than the final print. I love the Paper Towns for its conceit. It's a very rebellious response to the theories regarding Looking for Alaska and Abundance of Katherine. I won't say more, but there's something nice about everything. Perhaps, this conceit made the whole thing... more allegorical than 'realistic'. We all know John's book is not steamed on realism, but... no buts, so it's nice to have it so far removed???
